# Concrete Resurfacing & Driveway Restoration, Central Coast

If your driveway looks like it was poured when the house was built (because it probably was) you don't have to rip it out. Thousands of Central Coast homes from Woy Woy to Wyong still have their original 1970s-90s concrete: cracked, oil-stained, faded and rough with decades of salt air. We bring those surfaces back to life with resurfacing, spray-on finishes, epoxy coatings and coastal-grade sealing: typically at a fraction of the cost of full replacement.

Central Coast Concrete Revival concrete resurfacing restores cracked, stained or faded driveways, pool surrounds and garage floors without a full replacement, typically costing $2,500 to $8,000+ for a driveway. Every job is arranged through appropriately licensed local contracting partners and confirmed with a formal quote after a site inspection, so any figure on this page is an indicative guide only.

We're restoration specialists, not general concreters. We don't pour new slabs. Every job we quote is about reviving the concrete you already have, and every job is completed by appropriately licensed local contractors who know what Coast weather does to a surface.

FAQs

Good questions, answered

Is my old driveway too far gone to resurface?
Usually not. Surface cracks, stains, fading and minor spalling are exactly what resurfacing handles. The key question is whether the slab underneath is structurally sound: that's assessed at inspection. Badly heaved, sunken or crumbling slabs may need replacement, and we'll tell you honestly if yours does.
How much cheaper is resurfacing than replacement?
Resurfacing typically costs a third to a half of what full removal and replacement does, because you skip demolition, tipping fees and a new pour. Exact savings depend on your slab: the cost guide walks through realistic ranges. All figures are indicative until a site inspection.
How long does resurfacing take?
Most residential driveways are done in two to four days, weather permitting: repairs and preparation, the new finish, then sealing. You'll usually need to keep vehicles off the surface for several days after completion: your contractor will give you exact timings for the system used.
Will the new surface be slippery?
Slip-resistant textures are achievable with spray-on and other decorative finishes, and they're what we'd normally recommend for steep driveways and pool surrounds. No finish can be guaranteed non-slip in every condition, but grip is a core part of how Coast jobs get specified.
Do you pour new driveways?
No, and that's deliberate. We specialise in restoring existing concrete. If your slab genuinely needs replacing, we'll say so, and you'd then engage a licensed concreter for the new pour.
Who actually does the work?
Jobs are quoted and completed by appropriately licensed local contracting partners, Central Coast operators who specialise in resurfacing and coatings. We state this plainly because it's how you get specialist workmanship with local accountability. You're welcome to verify licensing with NSW Fair Trading before work begins.
